TITANIC

Titanic
Bang, bang; hammer, hammer.
Building her
Rivet, rivet; tic, tacket, tic.

She rises from the ground;
And by the world is crowned.

Titanic
Hoorah, hooray; there she goes.
She blows
Froom, horumph: the funnel.

A million voices shouting,
For Pride was abounding.

Titanic
Swishing, splishing through night.
Dark waters
Silence, silence: roars the seas.

The sea is glass
And silent, is the mass.

Titanic
Bump,tilt, zzzzn and scratch.
Blue berg
Ice, splice, shiver and rittle.

God save our souls!
This from a thousand voices rolls.

Titanic
Driving, diving; thunderous quake.
Silence forever
Hush, hush the sea tide whispers.

Titanic is bound in silent grip
For only God could sink that ship.
